Below are some answers to your most popular questions. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us.

What do I wear to classes?
Make sure you are dressed in loose comfortable clothing. A shalwar kameez is a good option. Please do not come in tight trousers, short skirts/dresses or jeans as this will restrict your movement.

 Can I pay per class?
No. We only accept term payments. The course is progressive so we do not encourage drop in classes. Also please note If you miss a class by any reason we will not refund any monies. If the school cancels a class a replacement class will be conducted.

 Can I join mid-term?
No. We only take on students at the start of a term. Joining midterm would mean missing material at the beginning of term which could hinder your progression.

I am 40, is it too late for me to join?
Sometimes we conduct special batches for adults. Please check with us.

Can you start a class in my area?
Yes – We need a minimum of 15 people to start a new class so get your friends and family together and we shall do the rest!

Can I stay and watch my child in class?
We ask all parents and guardians to leave the dance studio whilst the class is taking place as some students may feel distracted being watched. Parents are welcome to come back 5 minutes before the end of the class to see the new moves their children have learnt!

Can I take exams in Dance Assessments?
You will shortly be able to take in-house Dance Assessments. You will be presented with a certificate (Fee applicable).

I want to start performing in shows; can I do that once I join the dance school?
All students will be able to take part in annual shows and productions. However Rachana Natyalaya’s main focus is to give you the highest standard of dance training and not just to arrange dance performances. Students are given ample opportunity to perform in various dance shows.
